Jonas Buyle

Jonas Buyle is a Cyber Security Business Manager at Cronos Security and the founder of Apollo BV, established in 2022. Previously, he served as Director of Fraud and Cyber Security at ING Belgium (2021-2022) and held the position of IT Director for Analytics at ING Belgium and ING The Netherlands (2018-2021), where he managed teams across two countries and led the transition to cloud-driven analytics. His earlier roles at ING included Team Manager and Project Manager, focusing on operational excellence and cross-departmental improvements. Before ING, he was a Management Consultant at MÖBIUS Business Redesign (2008-2011).

Jonas holds an Executive Masterclass in Big Data and BI from Vlerick Business School (2015-2016) and a master’s degree in Bioengineering from Ghent University (2003-2008), alongside a master’s in environmental engineering from UCT Prague (2006-2007). He is also certified as an Energy Expert Type A and holds the PRINCE2 FOUNDATION certification.
