Philippe Dhainaut

Philippe Dhainaut is Head of Security in Business at SWIFT with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. In his current role, Philippe leads a team of security professional involved in all business areas. Philippe has strong finance professional skilled in Risk Management, Security Awareness, Secure Software Development Live Cycle, Application Security, PKI, Cloud Security and Information Security Management. Before, Philippe was the Head of Security Risk Management Team responsible for risk assessments and for promotion of risk management processes at SWIFT. Additionally, his team provides input on the development of security best practice, threats, countermeasures, regulations and standards and was responsible for defining security-related requirements for projects. Before his career at Swift, Philippe was Manager at PwC and active member of PricewaterhouseCoopers SIS.com group where he focused on “Identity Management” (Belgian subject matter expert) and gained advanced expertise on various ‘leading edge’ security solutions, as well as multiple PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) – based product. Philippe holds a degree in Physics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
